Its history dates back to the 18th century, when this building was home to Spain's first paper money factory. It was later transformed into a textile factory, giving life to a prosperous industrial colony with housing, a chapel and a school for more than 200 families.
Years later, in 1972, this enclave was acquired by Miguel Gargallo Lázaro, founder of Gargallo Hotels, who saw in these lands a special place to create his first hotel in Aragon. With only 12 rooms, recreational areas and a small sports court, it began a new era as a haven of tranquillity and hospitality in the heart of nature.
Over the decades, the hotel has evolved with various extensions and renovations, always respecting the essence of its past. In 2022, after an ambitious renovation, we opened our doors with 63 completely refurbished rooms, combining rustic charm with all modern comforts.
